Privacy policy
Last updated 12 October 2026
This policy explains how Cynilo handles personal information collected through cynilo.io. It covers this website only. How we handle information inside the Cynilo product is set out in each customer agreement.
What we collect
- Details you send us through the contact form or by email: your name, work email, organisation, role and your message.
- Basic technical information that any web server records, such as your browser type and the pages requested. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this site, and every page loads its fonts, scripts and images from cynilo.io itself, so no other company (such as Google or a social network) is contacted when you visit.
- Anonymous visit counts. Each page tells our own system which page was viewed, which website or search engine sent you there and your screen size category. We do not use cookies for this, do not store your IP address and cannot identify you or follow you between days. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, nothing is counted.
- If you request a Cynilo instance, the details you enter on that form: your name, work email, organisation, phone, role and what you need.
- If you arrive through a campaign link, your browser keeps the campaign name for that visit only and sends it with the form, so we know which campaign brought you.
Why we collect it
We use your details to reply to you, arrange a demo and follow up on your enquiry. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask.
Who can see it
Only the Cynilo team. Details you send through the form go straight to Cynilo’s own enquiry system, hosted on Microsoft Azure in Australia. If you email us, your message is held by our email provider, Zoho, in its Australian data centre.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any relationship that follows, then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you at any time. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
